From June 2nd to June 5th, 2015, Xi’an KOSUN Machinery Co., Ltd. took part in the 22nd International Caspian Oil and Gas Exhibition which was held in a beautiful city of Baku, the capital of Azerbaijan, with its’ professional drilling solids control systems and drilling waste management solutions. It is not the first time that KOSUN travelled to this marvelous country. KOSUN already set foot onto this distant yet strategically important region two years before.

The Caspian region which apart from Azerbaijan also includes Iran, Kazahstan, Turkmenistan and Russia has vast oil and gas reserves. Kosun´s Solids Control Equipment is not new to this area and it has already been proved by numerous drilling contractors to be reliable and easy to maintain. The region was deemed so important to KOSUN´s development that the leadership of the company made a decision to build a plant not far from the lake on the Kazahstan side to cater to the needs of drilling companies operating in this region. Four hundred exhibitors attended the exhibition, among them such world famous oil companies as BP, TPAO, TOTAL, State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR), oilfield service companies WEATHERFORD, SCHLUMBERGER, Iranian and Polish drilling companies, Italian and German drilling rig manufactures (DRILLMEC and HERRENKNECHT) and many more smaller companies from all over the world.

This time, KOSUN joint appearance with Xinjiang BEIKEN Energy Engineering group, attracted all kinds of people to visit booth to inquire about KOSUN Solids Control System and Drilling Waste Management Equipment, such as university teachers, purchasing managers from trading and drilling companies, as well as the engineers from the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR). KOSUN and BEIKEN Energy exhibition team welcomed everyone with fully smile and professional presentation.

The exhibition was completed with a fully success! Besides spreading the information on KOSUN’s brand and visiting old friends and partners, KOSUN got new valuable contacts that will enable the company to expand its business in the Caspian region. When the exhibition was over KOSUN immediately got several inquiries about Solids Control Equipment.
