KOSUN QZS series linear motion shale shaker is an solids control equipment with welded structure. Vibration motor & screen plate base are installed into screen basket with special parts. Screen basket is fixed on the adjustment beam. At each of the four vertexes of the screen basket put a vibration damping spring, which can prevent the adjoining parts and devices from being affected by the vibration. Mud returned from the well or cuttings to be treated will flow into the linear motion shale shaker via the feeder.

Drilling fluid solids control system

Drilling fluid solids control system used in drilling rig to separate the solids in the drilling fluids that are crushed by the drill bits and carried out of the well surface. Normally solid control system is consist of mud tank, shale shaker, vacuum degasser, desander, desilter, decanter centrifuge,etc. Shale shaker is used to separate the big solids with diameter above 75μm, and 45~74μm for drilling mud desander, and 15~44μm for mud desilter cleaner. Sometimes desander & desilter are combined as high volume mud cleaner. When air enters into the drilling fluids, vacuum degasser is used to separate the air. If no air in the mud, the vacuum degasser would work as a big mud agitator. All these equipments are mounted on the top of the mud tank. After separating the solids, the clean mud would be pumped into the borehole again.
