KOSUN is a leader in domestic solids control industry and expert in waste treatment. Since its establishement in 1992, it has been working on continuous development of solids control and drilling waste treatment technologies. In 2007, KOSUN won the bid for PEXMEX Offshore Oil Drilling Module.
In 2011, KOSUN awarded the contract with Gazprom - the largest natural gas corporation in the world, on the supporting project of peripheral equipment and all solids control systems for three sets of 3000m truck-mounted drilling rigs.
In 2012, KOSUN Kazakhstan Solids Control Factory was completed and put into use in Aktobe, Kazakhstan, and KOSUN Service Co., Ltd ( Kazakhstan ). obtained an order of providing low temperature solids control systems for 2 sets of 70D drilling rigs from Sino-KZ GWDC.
In 2013, KOSUN secured the contract with Sichuan Honghua Oil & Gas Engineering and Technology Services Co., Ltd. under Honghua Group, concerning 7 sets of 2000HP onshore rig mud solids control systems in Xi’an, China.
In 2013, KOSUN secured the contract of solids control systems with Polish Drilling Company, singalling a substantial step upwards on product quality and services.
In 2013, American KOSUN Solids Control Equipment Co., Ltd. was established in Houston, Texas, USA, and the brand of Black Rhino was created.

Recently, KOSUN’s efforts have been better confirmed with consecutive vertifications from API, IADC, CE and ISO9000.

For the purpose of enhancing the services to overseas customers, KOSUN has set up a marketing company and a services company in Kazakhstan in 2009, acquired stakes of the joint venture in Algeria and then invested in a subsidiary in U.S. in 2013.
