Oilfield Decanter Centrifuge is used in separating suspension of solids phase with particle for drilling mud and fluids handling. Here, in this essay, main parts of the Decanter Centrifuge will be introduced.
            
1.Feed pipe. Feed pipe is the entrance of the mixture material to be treated. In the oilfield, feed pipe mainly feeds the drilling mud in order that it will flow into the next processing step.

2.Base. Generally, the base of Decanter Centrifuge is used to support the above components and in convenience of the installation and transportation.

3.Casing. Casing is applied to protect the scroll conveyor and the drum.

4.Scroll conveyor. As a very important part, Scroll conveyor dedicate to rotating in high speed to separate the mixture and transmit the solid particles. It’s closely related to the processing capacity and impact of the centrifuge.

5.Drum. Together with the scroll conveyor, drum is also a crucial part to the centrifuge, which is used to separate liquids through the holes on the drum when it is rotating speedily.

6.Differential. Under the high speed rotation of the shaft and the centrifugal force, the separation of the liquid and the solid particles realized. It’s just the differentia that generates the different speed between the scroll conveyor and the drum, which makes the solid is discharged from the outlet and the liquid from another outlet.

7.Pulley. Combined with the motors, pulley is mainly to transmit the motion form the motors, together with the same direction force of the shaft, the drum rotates in high speed to generate the centrifugal force.
