 Oil is always the focus of energy fields in worldwide areas, no matter what in politics, economy, war and even world revolutions. High quality oil serves for good operation and transportation conditions, and qualified oil products need processing by several steps according to the usage of the oil. In oil drilling process, solids control system is a crucial phase in guaranteeing normal operation of drilling rigs and drilling safety by processing drilling mud. Hereby, in the following description, main solids control equipment will be introduced specifically.     

 

Main equipment in solids Control system

 

Drilling mud shale shaker. Drilling mud shale shaker is the first stage of solids control equipment in drilling purification system. It can remove cuttings above 75μm from the drilling well and the liquid with smaller particles will flow into tanks, then the fluids will flow into next grade solids control equipment to be treated.

Mud Cleaner（desander, desilter).KOSUN MD series highly effective mud cleaner is the second or third stage separation equipment of drilling liquid, which will handle the solids particle after being treated by the first grade separation equipment. The mud will be recovered and cuttings which are bigger than mud will be removed. Then the cuttings in the underflow will flow into circulation tanks through the screens when the weighted mud passes while the particles that are bigger than mesh will be removed.

Decanter Centrifuge. KOSUN series Decanter centrifuge makes full use of centrifugal sedimentation principle to achieve effective separation of infinitesimal particles and solid particles. It is primarily applied in industries like oil drilling chemical engineering, petroleum, food, medicine, or dressing, coal, water treatment, shipbuilding, etc.

Vacuum Degasser. KOSUN series Vacuum Degasser is a new-type special equipment of treating gas cut drilling fluid, which is developed by our factory on the basis of integrating a variety of degassers at home and abroad. It is suitable for matching to various mud purification systems, plays an important role in recovering the special gravity of mud, stabilizing the viscosity performance of mud and reducing the drilling cost, and can be also used as a high power agitator.
