The drilling solids control is a mud mixing and slurrying system for the drilling rig, and the mud does not fall to the ground is the back-end equipment of the drilling solids control system, which is mainly used to deal with the waste drill cuttings processed by the drilling solids control system.

The drilling solids control system mainly consists of solids control equipment including mud shaker, vacuum degasser, sand and mud removal integrated machine, drilling fluid centrifuge, mud agitator tank, jet dosing funnel, etc. The drill cuttings attached to the mud returned from the drilling are filtered and separated mainly through these solid control equipment, and the useful mud is collected into the mixing tank for use. The drilling cuttings and mud separated by filtration become drilling waste or drilling waste slurry, and this part of drilling waste slurry will be discharged into the mud pool.

However, according to the current environmental protection requirements, the drilling waste slurry after drilling solids control treatment is hazardous waste, and it is forbidden to discharge drilling waste slurry at will, and special treatment is required.

The mud non-falling system is composed of a drill cuttings dryer and a drill cuttings centrifuge. The waste slurry discharged from the drilling solids control is transported to the drill cuttings dryer through the screw conveyor for drying and separation. After drying, the moisture content of the drill cuttings is very high. Low, can be packaged and transported to a special hazardous waste treatment station. The muddy water thrown out can be reused after being processed by the drill cuttings centrifuge.

Summary: The drilling solids control system is the front-end processing equipment for drilling mud, and the back-end equipment when the mud does not land. Both are essential equipment for drilling engineering.
